HUNT ONLINEIt really felt great to win the league
It felt really great to win the league for a third time in a row. It is great to get the reward for all the hard work we have all put in.
We were obviously disappointed to lose the match against BIDVest Wits University, but it’s not what you do over one game, but over the 30 games in a season.
We have had a good, hard training session this week because I felt we needed to do some hard work, since we haven’t been able to do a lot of training over the past couple of weeks, with all the games we played.
The league clash against Wits preceded the CAF match, and I think we played very well in the first half against Mbabane Swallows and we should have got five or six goals. We took our foot off the pedal in the second half and it became an even game. We were however always in control and there was never any danger.
All the national team players will be available for the weekend’s game, but not available for the cup competitions and champions league.

It is very difficult at the moment at training because normally when the league is won, the season is over, but there is still a lot to play for this season.
We are going to go to Mpumalanga Black Aces with a good mindset and a new team in the Telkom Knockout last 16, because a lot of players won’t be available and our aim is to go as far as we can in this tournament.
We will be playing them away at Puma Rugby Stadium on Sunday March 14.
