SSU aim to settle the score against Arrows

SuperSport United will take on Lamontville Golden Arrows in a crucial DStv Premiership encounter tonight.

The match is scheduled for Mpumalanga Stadium in the KwaZulu-Natal province.

Kickoff is at 19:30.

Matsatsantsa are definitely looking to settle the score following their disappointing first round meeting last year.

United are going into this match after a long FIFA International break and their last match was a Tshwane derby that ended in a stalemate.

According to United left-winger, the team must focus on winning matches so that they stay motivated ahead of tonight’s match and beyond.

“Personally, I believe the more you play, the more rhythm you’ll get. If you win, then you are motivated to keep doing better,” SuperSport defender Lyle Lakay told SuperSport.com.

Lakay rejoined United this season and had a good working relationship with Gavin Hunt in the past.

“It was our first season together. I don’t know if we’ll be back in the Confederation Cup or the Champions League. We are hoping to qualify again for next season.” said the Cape Town-born-player.

The speedy winger added value to United as he started in a few matches and also scored goals in some of the crucial games.
