SuperSport United DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) boys registered another convincing victory at home against Maritzburg United in Tshwane on Sunday morning.

The match was held at the TUT Stadium.

The home side showed hunger for an early lead in the beginning of the match as they created a lot of scoring chances but the Maritzburg keeper was up to the task.

The halftime score was 0-0.

In the 61^st minute Jabu Matsio pulled one for Matsatsantsa after getting an assist from winger Tenda Matodzi.

The score was 1-0 to SuperSport.

Matsatsantsa’s celebration was short-lived as Maritzburg levelled matters in the 65^th minute.

It was United who also netted their second goal from Thabang Mahlangu who came off the bench for Thabang Makhubo at the beginning of the first half. Mahlangu connected a cross from Shandre Campbell with a beautiful header in the 68^th minute.

The score was 2-1 to the super boys.

In the 90^th + Matsatsantsa were awarded a penalty but were unlucky as Keenan Bezuidenhout’s effort was saved by Maritzburg keeper.

The final score was 2-1 to SuperSport.
