Ronwen Online – we want to keep our momentum going

It was a wonderful team performance, dedication and a sign of us being one strong unit, it wasn’t easy but we all battled and played our par, most of all for the nation.

At this stage you want to collect as many points as possible, we didn’t play our best football but the most important aspect were the victories and that keep our dreams alive.

We are proud of our efforts so far but we know we haven’t achieved anything yet and it’s far from over, we are excited about the next two qualifiers, it’s a challenge that we are looking forward to.

Jesse Donn and Luke Fleurs have been doing very well and they deserved their place in the squad, Teboho Mokoena has been so consistent this season and has taken his game to a new and higher level.

Coach Hugo Broos is a players’ coach, he is so calm and never puts pressure on the players, and we are enjoying our time with him and learning so much.

It was wonderful having our supporters back, they were definitely missed, and they pushed us and encouraged us to fight to the end.

They had two good victories and I’m happy for him, they got it all to play for next qualifiers.

We are still proud of them, as representing your national team is a major honour.

We have started our league campaign very well, we want to keep this momentum going, the boys are fighting hard and are enjoying themselves.

We are proud of our home record, last year we only lost one match at home and we want to better it this season and not lose at home.
