SuperSport United crushed Gaborone United of Botswana 3-0 in an exhilarating second preliminary return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The match was held at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Friday night.

Both sides displayed some exciting performances as they also created a lot of scoring opportunities in the first half.

The halftime score was 0-0.

The home side opened the scoring account in the 57th minute from Nigerian international Etiosa Ighodaro after a brilliant assist from Ronald Pfumbidzai.

In the 72nd minute Ighodaro completed his brace before making way for Matsatsantsa forward Bradley Grobler.

In the 76th minute Matsatsantsa made double substitutions with Pfumbidzai making way for Terrence Dzvukamanja and Grobler came off the bench for brace man Ighodaro.

Matsatsantsa continued to stamp their authority as substitute Grobler netted the third goal in the 90th minute.

The final score was 3-0 to the home side SuperSport United.
