SuperSport United Football Club host coastal side Cape Town City in the 2024 Nedbank Cup Last32 round.

The match will be played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Tuesday night.

Kickoff is at 19:00.

Matsatsantsa are going into this match with an impressive Cup pedigree and this is going to be a tough one between the two sides who played in three Cup finals in the past.

However, the home side is very much depleted as some of the key squad members are not available for selection due to suspensions and injuries.

Both United and City have resumed the league matches with draws against Stellenbosch FC and Chippa United this past week respectively.

Matsatsantsa will rely heavily on players such as shrewd midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu, Grant Margeman, experienced defender Onismor Bhasera and the young Shandre Campbell.

On the other hand, City will pin their hopes on skipper Thamsanqa Mkhize, Thabo Nodada and ex-SuperSport United forward Khanyisa Mayo.

Last season, Gavin Hunt’s charges lost to minnows Dondol Stars FC in the same stage of the tournament at the same venue.
